I'm currently revising for my 3 remaining final papers, which are electrical system, engineering structures and computing.. all 3 papers next week on alternating days! OMG!!! i nid to pray!!

hey guys! sry for not updating for soooo long cuz i was having my sem break at my humtown -- IPOH!!! Had a nice rest bak there.... mostly rotting at home n sum outings v frens such as yum cha, watch movie n sing k sessions v ipoh buddays~~ (^3^)

It's 20/7/2009 n my sem 2 life started today!! it feels kinda gud getting bak to da uni, meeting bak all da uni mate while enjoying the air-con, which is my main motive goin to uni...hehe! We had introductory lectures for 3 of my subjects taking tis sem, namely engineering structures, computing n electrical sys from 2pm to 5pm... n i hav to say tat all 3 lectures for these subjects r pretty young, so i'm quite looking forward to how their lectures will b conducted!

Btw, i hav a vry nice timetable tis sem with no lessons on fridays!! cheers!!! tat means i can hav 1 day of weekend holiday!! WEE~~!!!!

Its the start of a new month n im jz starting to enjoy my sem break.....

Well, after a few days of quarantine session at home, i finally went out from sum activities today!

I met up v julia, yean n ah fan n we went for sing k session at k-box jj. It was fun cuz i din hav any sing k session since my 1st sem at monash started. Basically my singing sux at the beginning but slowly i gained bak my pace, lookin forward to my next k session! hehe.... (julia wud b damn happy when she sees tis). Btw, i still prefer e-box more than k-box cuz e-box can let me sing longer! lol!

We hung out after the k session when jia yee n susu joined in... we get to meet v the long lost kathleen as well. After sum lepak here lepak there, sit here n sit there, we finally wasted our time until 8.30pm, which was time for us to hop into the cinema n catch ICE AGE 3... although it was quite short (90mins), the movie was vry funny! enjoyable n worth-watching!

N now im bak in my hse, bathed n posting tis post....... Nitez av1!

Weekend happenings

Last fri after i had my 3rd final paper, i spent the whole remaining of fri, sat n sun v jul n susu!

We went to our first plan on fri nite, KOREAN BBQ!! it's the famous korean restaurant in taipan (i forgot the name >.<). I'm not really a big fan for korean food but i kinda lik the food tat nite... the best korean food i had so far... n of coz its the most expensive korean food i had so far!! hehe..

The next day, jul's parents came n we went to pyramid for brunch! thx to jul's parents i had my first brunch at dragon-i restaurant! weeeee~^.^... had the chance to try out the shanghai small dumplings (xiao long bao), which is famous in tat restaurant. I had to admit, its quite nice! at least its better than the one i ate in Asia Cafe... LOLZ... me n susu then went lepak around surveying camera n other stuff b4 joining bak jul n family for tea at old town kopitiam. Later tat evening we went to SS15 n started our next plan.

Since we reach there quite early, we decided to go FTZ (the largest cc in ss15) for sum L4D! It was jul's first time playing L4D n she really liked it! haha... then we went for dinner in AC cuz jul wanted to eat the mix rice in AC so badly... lol... after dinner was POOL time! we played a few games where jul dominated most of the games.. T.T.. (kena pawn head by her.. >.<) after the game we went bak to susu's place for the nite n stay up until 3.30am for the astro singing competition!

U may hav tot tat i had finished my finals, sry but ur wrong!! i still hav 1 more paper left n i jz used up 3days of my revision time >.<"""""""""""""""" SO I HAV TO WORK HARD NOW!!

well guess wat? while i was goin home after uni jz now, i saw 2 guys setting up a stall! n its a burger stall!! my wish was heard!! thank you mr.God!! the stall is quite simple only... mayb becoz the guys jz wanted to earn sum simple bucks so they set up their own simple stall... too bad i've bought my dinner if not i'll try it out!!

Laz fri: went cc v hon qui... let him c how noob i was... then had a gathering v bon n other 0707pm16 peeps... watched night at the museum 2 v bon n kath n shan n their imu frens after dinner! its been awhile since i had so much plans on fri!! nicez!

Laz sat: replacement class for maths... went to pyramid for a walk... bought ibumie harmee... n ate 2 for dinner(yumm!)

Laz sun: did my physics hw... then went to pyramid again in the evening... wait until 8.30pm jz to buy the 30% off sushi =.=

Yesterday: Bought ingredients n made myself sum tuna sandwich fillings.... n it tasted jz lik my mum's! (yum2)

Btw im quite into movies lately, been watching movies non-stop, star trek la, angels and demons la, taken la, the international la, wolverine la, la la la, then next 1 will b terminator salvation!!
OMG!!! n exam is soooooooooooooo near!!! can die d!

I jz got bak from uni v my mix rice i dapao-ed for my dinner. Today i bought sumting nice ------fried chicken drumstick!!! its been a while since a laz ate tat... haha... duno whether the taste is gud or bad... i'm soo hungry now.

Basically my day today was a daily routine... had lectures n tutorial until 6pm... ntg special happened... so i dun tink i nid to elaborate any of tat la... but during lunch time i bought mocha flavoured bubble milk tea!!!! it was nice!!! my fren said its better than san francisco's hahaha!! Hope to try other flavours next time :)

Oh.. n julia came bak safe from the states a few days ago... too bad sum of her stuff got confiscated... so there goes my free meal... T.T (duno real or not tim er).. hehe... n she's having fun now v my other frens going lepak here n there... T.T... i wanna go lepak too! hehe...

Oh yea! its shit n crap day! jz when i tot i finally got sumting nice to hav for dinner at rock cafe besides the boring mix rice, i got into a pile of SHIT!!! A BIG ONE SUMMORE!!!

Its the 2nd time! 2nd time alr i kena tat same pile of shit! The 1st time was a month ago.... where i tot its sum cow dung in the city... which was sooo weird... n i spent the whole afternoon getting rid of it as it was stuck on my car tyre... now i finally noe where i got tat pile of SHIT on my tyre... IN FRONT OF MY HSE!!! eventually sum dog poop in front of my hse!!! n im guessing its quite a big dog as the pile of SHIT is as BIG pile as a man's BIG POOP...

I CANT IMAGINE THERE'S SUCH A IRRESPONSIBLE OWNER THAT LET HIS DOG SHIT IN FRONT OF PPL'S HSE N JZ RUN OFF!!! N Y ITS OUTSIDE MY HSE?????? N Y ITS ALWIS ME HU KENA THE SHIT????!!!!!

I still hav half an hour to go b4 the day is over! i cant stop my blogging streak!!

Woke up at 10am today cuz i was watching another movie until 3am =p... i watched nicholas cage's "lord of war"... the movie highlighted the trafficking of weapons by the international arms industry... as cage take on the role of yuri orlov, an illegal arms dealer... n tat movie was a hell lot better than dragon ball evolution!!!

Did my homework for half of my time... while the other half i spent it on youtube! hehe... i watched "higashi no eden (eden of the east)" today... its a really nice anime, you guys shud try n watch!

Today i din get a proper breakfast n lunch... i ate smarties, julie biscuits n drank milo for my brunch.... kakakka... then later in the evening i went to asia cafe for indomee double n dabao ramli burger for supper, which i regretted buying it cuz i hardly can stuff the burger in as im kinda full d....

i tink i'll jz stop here... still hav to bath n do my laundry... n tmr got lessons... sigh.... cya!

i started out my day waking up at 8 =.=... which was sooo early! but wat to do... replacement lab was at 9am!

today's lab was rather fun... we did corrosion test... its been a while since i laz do a chemistry test n actually i kinda missed it! =p Had sum nice chit-chat v my seniors cum lab group mates too! Then i grab my lunch at KFC.... fried chicken weeeeee! went home n noticed tat my antivirus software gone haywired! x.x tried to fix it but it was no gud =.= went n sleep hoping the dwarfs will come fix my laptop for me but no hope after i woke up... so i stayed low in mood, forgotten to study again, until my dinner time...

I watched a movie after my dinner... not in the cinema but at my room (shhh....) n wat i watched was...........

Tada! its Dragon ball evolution!

n i tell u wat.... the movie sux!!! one of the worst movie i've ever watched!!! ok... mayb it was rather entertaining in the beginning but it was soooooooo wrong in the end!!! n did roshi use kamehameha to revive goku????????? kamehameha was suppose to b a energy blow rather than sum spiritual energy to revive ppl =.= i tell u wat! if there's goin to b a sequel i hope u production staffs get ur facts rite n dun mess up wif akira-sensei's masterpiece! Woke up at 9, lazy lazy around until 12pm, wanna go pyramid but cant find a parking, so i went to carrefour, got myself a small japanese table for rm40, wanna get a study lamp but out of stock, then i went to salmon steak n ate the yummy bandung chicken rice, got home n notice my car kena pigeon BOMB(shit) =.="!!!!!!! went bak to my room after cleaning the BOMB, lazy lazy around until 6.30pm, went out n so lucky tat i found a parking at pyramid, walked around until 8pm, went mamak eat 2 pieces of roti canai, bought "yeah!" magazine from 7-11, went home, sewed my pants (got 2 big holes next to the pockets....took me more than half an hour to sew it, hope it'll last...), read magazine, went youtube, blog!!!!

That was wat i did for the whole day! But i din get to do 1 ting....... STUDY!!! T.T.... haiz.... tmr summore got lab replacement class.... T.T.... my laptop still lag..... T.T...... i tink i shud change my title to "shitty day".... HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Phew! after a series of tests its finally time to rest!! Happy Labour Day to av1!!!

I was soo lazy today!!! Even lazy to update my blog. But still, im gonna blog anyways =p

Uni was ok today... I only hav 2 lessons today so i'm free after 2pm!! (tis is y i lurv my thursdays!!) N i got to play my fren's PSP during maths lesson... haha! i played dissidia: final fantasy n it turns out to b quite a fun game to play! the fighting sequences were awesome n i manage to use Cloud's limit break!! =) too bad my fren din let me play longer T.T but still its great!!

I went home after 2 n started to watch tis week's NCIS... then i slept.... then i woke up n chat abit... then i planned to go pyramid but din get the chance to go cuz of the jams... so instead i went to dabao mix rice then go home n stay in front of the computer screen again....n then i bathed n now here i am... blogging!

I'm not really satisfied v my laptop performance nowadays... it went slow n jerky n lagged all of a sudden.... n i really duno wat's actually happening!! SUXXX!!! even my media player classic also got sum problem... alwis kick gei when im watching my shows... i cant enjoy my show at all.... sad la... so cacat!! n its only almost 2 years old.... izzit time to change another 1???

Jz bak home after my maths tutorial class. Today's tutorial class made me damn furious!!!!! First off, the tutor picked me to do one question on the board, but one of the guys in front me snatched the question from me! ok... i let him do... i can alwis do another 1 later... U'll probably will ask me y bother abt doin questions on the board? Bcoz it carries participation marks for my internal marks so av1 wans to get the marks...

Next! Suddenly all the fellas started ticking of the mark sheet! they din do any question yet they marked themselves!! Later on, they kena! The tutor got angry n said tat those ppl ticking without doin will hav their names b given to the first year coordinator... PADAN MUKA!!!! but wat made me more furious was..... THEY LIED!!!!! GIVING STUPID EXCUSES SAYING THEY TICKED BECAUSE THEY'RE DOING THE NEXT QUESTION!!! HEY!!!! ARE YOU FUGGERS PRIMARY SCHOOL KIDS?????? Luckily i manage to do 1 question in the end... BEH TAHAN!

As for the movie... im not goin lu.... wanna save money... hahhahahahhaahahahhahaahahah....

Orchestra concert anyone?

Can't afford a orchestra concert ticket? Too troublesome to wear formal for the concert? Guess wat! U dun hav to worry abt tat now! With youtube, u can listen to ur favourite orchestra pieces without leaving ur couch, chair, stool, toilet bowl........ u name it! haha.... hey! i'm not promoting for youtube ok!

Well, i jz wanted to share 2 orchestra pieces v u peeps! These 2 pieces r so powerful yet touching... aww.... jz watching it first n talk later! =)

1st piece is Laputa theme by Joe Hisashi. If you guys happen not to know mr.hisaishi, he's a composer best known for his work with animator Hayao Miyazaki (宮崎駿), having composed many scores for many of his films including Spirited Away & Howl's Moving Castle. The above piece was taken from his 2008 big concert. The choirs n brass bands were superb! Touching!

I jz soooooo in lurvvvvvvvv with the soprano! She's soooooo amazing! Mou dak deng! Magnificent! By the way, it's Kenji Kawai's Voyage to AVALON from the movie 'avalon' (i hav no idea wat tat movie was abt! ^^) n the soprano by polish singer Elzbieta Towarnicka. Kenji Kawai is another notable composer recently composed the soundtrack for "Ip Man" (a hong kong movie starring donnie yen... leng zai~~) n sum ppl will get to noe him as the composer of Gundam 00!!

So, u guys wanted more of them? For me, i really hope to attend their live concerts, y cant they do 1 in m'sia!!!!!!!

Wow! I finally finish all my tests! can rest for awhile... yea... n i really meant jz for awhile!

Many tings gonna come up next! my 2nd on9 test for materials will b on tmr! n i hav to do my maths tutorial questions... revise my dynamics on vibrations (the formulas will eventually kill me!)... n blah blah blah....

But b4 tat... i jz watched a hk variety show! n heroes season 3 finale! (ohh i cant wait for season 4!) n i'm writing tis post... laz but not least... mayb goin for wolverine tmr!! yay yay!! its been awhile since i laz watch movie in pyramid... i cant really rmb my laz time watching movie over there d! haha... mayb becoz of my short-term memory... oh well!

i was emo-ing for the whole day yesterday... played games n slept... even took out chemistry n start revising... but i cant focus... my brain kept letting me tinkin bak abt the physics paper i did... how suck i did... criesssssss again..... T.T

physics 4 really torn my confidence apart... i dunno how to cont for the rest of the exam... 4 more papers to go... will luck b on my side(?) cuz i really hav to depend on it since i've alr lost confidence to use my own strength to get gud results d......

on the other hand, my brain n my revision skills r also among the factors tat made the mess too... start early cant rmb, start late cant finish+cant rmb... really wan to blame myself, blame my brain, Y ISN'T MY BRAIN FUNCTIONING WELL ENUF?????!!!!!!!

aH Bon's festival!!

Yesterday i got the chance to go to ah bon's hse for his festival! yay! Haha, jz joking :p

Actually it was the japanese's Bon Odori festival located at shah alam's panasonic sports complex. Ah bon, teckho n me went there yesterday evening together bryant n other taylorians as we went there by hired-bus. It took us abt 15 minutes to get there from taylor's main gate. We reached there quite early. The festival started at 7pm but we alr inside the sports complex around 5pm..(swt....-.-") wat did we do? we jz walk around n look around for the next 2 hours... n we even wu liao enuf to walk round the running track for 2 or 3 laps!
n then we went up to the VIP area n kena *KICKED* out by the staffs... kakaka!

Then finally the festival begins v the speech by the chairman, a japanese guy. Next there was the Taiko drum performance n the japanese traditional dances!
The dance steps were nice n beautiful... u guys muz c for urself! mayb next bon odori festival!!

I, Derek yamato, hereby apologize for my sudden disappearance from the blog. I need to clarify that i blogged last time because i was undergoing a serious exam stress, and the method for relieving it was posting. As you all can see, my posts mostly consist of youtube clips that are stress relievers, eg. songs and russell peters. PROM STUFF: boleh mati! went to summit, midvalley, subang parade, carrefour n sunway! In the end got my shoes in subang parade, belt n slacks n tie n outerwear in sunway, n i spent around RM300 in total!(hohohoho!...x.x).DUMB LA! RM300 jz for a nite! betta go sing k! can sing for many many times er! hmph!

REVISION: lagi mati! bcuz of the shopping i went out from fri to thurs! not many time to revise d... struggle struggle... i cant imagine how i'll do for my remaining papers d (T.T)

1 more paper done! the end of maths 1 paper today marked the end of the 2nd week of AS finals...

After the paper i went to 'the web' to read sum manga. Loading of the pages is pretty fast n i like it, but..... U c, there was tis guy near me kept talking non-stop (to impress the girls aka classmates... i tink... lol) n he was sooo loud. Tat made me freakin annoyed!! i tried to stream sum music from the internet but unfortunately there was a loading failure. So, i cant use music to cover his voice, he kept talking loudly, spoilt my mood, freakin annoyed, went home! haha! I napped for awhile after i went bak to my room n tada! here i am... BLOGGING!! plus... I'M READING MY MANGA!!! without the presence of the GUY!!! thank god!

i dun tink im gonna revise today. Damn lazy! mayb will finish off my NCIS season 4 (2 more episodes left) n then chat + blog! As for tmr, mayb catching a movie v teckho and company! ~y~a~y~!

anyways, after the paper, me, teckho n bon went to kl together, to relax abit from exam stress! we went to lowyat plaza to get sum gadgets. we walked n walked n walked, surveying a few shops n finally got wat we want!! yay! i got myself a cooling pad cuz my laptop is having a 'high fever'... haha! then we jz walked around time square for awhile n had our dinner there... aftertat we went home!
